Situated along lekki-Ajah express way, Lagos state. The environment is nature at it best. The humming birds and fresh breeze from the tall trees makes you forget the stress in the city.
Nature lovers will love the place. School children and people doing research will learn one or two things from there. Entry fee is low. It is a place to relax as a family or group and you can even have a picnic though food can only be served in a cage-like place to prevent attacks from monkeys while eating. There are monkeys, peacocks, the giant turtle amongst other animals to see and children playing ground.
The conservation center is run by Nigeria conservation foundation with support from chevron. A beautiful cone house serves as the administrative block. The trail board walk make accessing easier, you can get a good view from the tree house and also do some bird watching. There are signs everywhere to show you where you are and the animals you may find.
So when next you find yourself around lekki, visit the conservation. Is all about finding fun and rest without crossing the ocean.
Will be writing more about finding fun this holiday season.
Compliments of this beautiful season to you.
